Renaissance
Renaissance, a Centre for Research, Extension and Studies in Literature and Arts was started in 2004, the Golden Jubilee year of Sree Sankara College, with a view to provide greater opportunity for students to pursue and develop their talents and to streamline their academic and co-curricular activities for community development. Through research, extension and studies in various fields, a continued attempt is made to link the past and the present on to a challenging future. Renaissance celebrated its 20th year on 26th January 2024.
Our Vision
To initiate a campus Renaissance from one corner of the country to other parts, starting from the college named after the saint-philosopher Sree Sankaracharya, the proponent of Advaita.
Our Mission
The year 2024 marks a significant milestone for Renaissance as it proudly enter the 20th year of enriching minds by fostering creativity and innovation in the realms of arts and literature. Established as a Multidisciplinary Centre for Research, Extension and Learning, Renaissance has been a beacon of inspiration since its inception in 2003-2004. Beyond academia, Renaissance is more than a center; it's a family that believes in the motto 'study and serve.' Our members are not just academically adept but also serve as resource persons in other institutions. Through engaging workshops, productions, nature studies, camps, film productions, wall painting workshops, and more, Renaissance goes above and beyond in ensuring high benchmarks for excellence. Join us on this incredible journey of 'mutually motivating' each other as we continue to inspire creativity, coexistence, and goodwill.
