Internal Exam Committee

Sree Sankara College has constituted an Internal Examinations committee as per the guidelines of University.  The principal appoints an Internal Exam Committee to conduct Examinations and make policy decisions for transparent and robust internal examinations. Internal examinations are conducted in a centralized manner prior to the university examinations. 

The internal examination Committee in consultation with the Principal prepares a schedule for internal examination based on the academic calendar.  Time tables are displayed on the notice board and circulated in student WhatsApp groups.   Before the examination, mock tests are scheduled and conducted to make students familiar with the process.  The respective teachers in charge of the course prepare question papers for each theory course and submit it  to the examination section a week in advance. The invigilation schedule is prepared by the Internal Examination committee and communicated to staff through notices. The invigilator maintains strict vigilance during the examinations to avoid any malpractice by the students.

To execute internal assessment of students in a flawless, transparent and systematic manner.

Functions

• Schedule centralised internal examinations for all disciplines every semester.
• Ensuring the setting of question papers in stipulated time.
• Ensuring the valuation of answer sheets and publication of results in stipulated time.
• Supporting the redressal of student grievances regarding conduct and evaluation of answer sheets.
