Gender Equity Policy
Gender sensitivity as well as gender equality are indicators of a matured and progressive society. Recognizing that gender sensitivity and equality are pivotal signs of a progressive society, we consider it our duty to instill these values in our students, who are the future leaders of our nation.
Our commitment to this cause is reflected in our comprehensive policy, which encompasses various aspects of gender sensitization. We actively promote an atmosphere of respect and equality by refraining from discrimination or stereotyping based on gender. All members of our campus community, both staff and students, are treated with equal respect, and we provide gender sensitivity training to further reinforce these principles.
Key aspects of our gender sensitization efforts include :
1. Empowering girl students with life-skills, employment skills, leadership-skills and self-confidence
2. Maintaining a conducive ambience for health and hygiene of girl students and female staff
3. Interactive sessions with transgender personalities from various walks of life, on various genders and related aspects
4. Active gender sensitivity club, Internal Complaints Committee, Grievance cell
5. Maintaining gender balance in various decision-making bodies
6. Organizing seminar/ workshops and special lectures to inculcate gender awareness and consciousness
